How To find day of 01-01-1956 is Sunday
Step - 1 = Take the last 2 digit of the year and divide by 4 or ADD 1/4 of the year
= 56 + 14 = 70 ( year + 1/4 of the year) - ignore if any decimal .
Step - 2 = If year is Leap year January is - 0 - zero, February is - 3 -
Get the Corresponding code of the Month-chart
January, code is = 0
Step - 3 = Take the "Date" from 01-01-1956 = 01
Step - 4 = ADD step 1 + step 2 + step 3 ( 70 + 0 + 01 = 71 )
Step - 5 = Divide step4 by 7 take only remainder = 71 / 7 = 1
remainder is 1 .
Step - 6 = This remainder number is correspondece to the above WEEK chart, CHECK code,
remainder 1 shows - SUNDAY -.

NOTE;- Apart from basic steps, other elements have to be taken into account.
2 ) LEAP YEARS:- Remember that leap years are not always every 4 years, There are exceptions. Years that end in 00 are not leap years unless it is a multiple of 400. Therefore 1700, 1800, 1900, and 2100 are not leap years, but 2000 is leap year.
(The year ending in 0, 4, 8 in even decades, and year ending in 2, 6 in odd decades)
3) Negative numbers, during the calculation you get 0 zero or Negative numbers, just add SEVEN
until you get a number from 1-7
